Your big day has arrived! I will arrive with you to capture the final touch ups of hair and make up (providing it is within your package) and record all the details of your dress, shoes, jewellery and the interaction and build up between you and your bridal party.
This is a truly wonderful part of the day, so full of anticipation and emotion. We then move on to the groom and his grooms men, where we take some relaxed and informal portraits of men being men, but also informal portraits with his family.
Photography during the wedding ceremony will depend on the type of ceremony. Naturally, we are fully respectful throughout all ceremonies and photograph in an unobtrusive manner. Some churches will not allow photography at all throughout the ceremony, others will allow some, it is always worth checking with your church beforehand. If you are having a civil ceremony, most registrars are quite relaxed and allow you to photograph unobtrusively throughout the ceremony.
The rest of your wedding day, and our role as wedding photographers is dependant on each couple. Some couples prefer to have formal groups at the church or registry office, whilst some like the big confetti shots, others prefer all photographs to be completed at the reception venue, and others prefer no formal groups at all.
We will require approximately 45 minutes - 1.5 hours for the groups, which will include taking the bride and groom away from the bridal party for their personal photographs.
